Get Free Deodorant and Cash Back Using Ibotta

I am a HUGE fan of the Ibotta app. If you've never heard of it, or don't have it on your phone, please get it HERE before going any further. A lot of my money-saving posts will involve Ibotta, so you're going to need it.

Now, the amount of money that you can get back from this deal will vary, because Ibotta is always running promotions for different months and holidays. New users get a cash bonus, seasoned users can build teams and make even more money, etc. I'll go into depth how to use Ibotta and all of its features later, but for now, I'm just going to give you a quick run-down of how to get free deodorant and even maybe make some cash.

This deal ends October 14th, so RUN. WalMart carries  Dove Women’s Dry Spray, Degree Men Dry Spray, and Degree Women’s Dry Spray for $4.97 a piece. Axe White Label Dry Spray and Dove Men+Care Dry Spray are $5.47 a piece. Ibotta has rebates for these items that go up to $5.25. Combine them all to get your items for cheap.

If you just use Ibotta, you can get these items for mere cents, and if you clip the coupons from the RedPlum newspaper insert, you can get an additional $1.50 to $2.00 off.

Once you sign in to Ibotta, click on 'Grocery', under the 'Store by Category' tab. A list of stores will come up. Select WalMart. At the top of the screen will be a search box. Type in 'deodorant'. A list of deodorants with available rebates will come up. Click on each deodorant in the following list to unlock that item's rebate:

1. Dove Women’s Dry Spray
2. Degree Men's Dry Spray
3. Degree Women’s Dry Spray
4. Axe White Label Dry Spray
5. Buy Dove Men+Care Dry Spray

Now that you have all of these rebates unlocked, go to the store and buy the items. Once you have them, open up Ibotta, and verify your purchases. Keep your receipt, because you'll have to scan the barcode on it.

Once everything is scanned, it can take 24 to 48 hours for it to be accepted. Once your account has a total of $20 in it, you can cash it out for money or gift cards. I have always been paid within 24 hours.

I know this may sound confusing if you haven't used Ibotta before, but believe me, it's been a huge help to me. Get familiar with it and you'll never shop without it.
