My 'Dollar Store Crafts' idea has really gotten a lot of attention lately, so I will try to keep it as a site staple. Today, I made this cute wall hanging out of a serving tray and wall decals I purchased from Dollar Tree. The paint came from WalMart, although some dollar stores do carry it.
What you need: silver serving tray sheet of wall decals paintbrush paint pop tab from a drink can hot glue gun How to make it: This craft is actually so simple, I decided to not post a ton of photos, and instead just tell you how to put it together. 1. Paint the center of the serving tray with a thin layer of paint, and let it dry. Apply a second coat, and let it dry as well. 2. Trim the wall decals so they will fit in the center of the tray, and apply them in any order you like. 3. Attach the pop tab to the back of the tray with the hot glue to use as a hanger. There you go! So simple, yet so pretty.
