I’m always shopping around online to see if I can find anything unique or pretty to decorate my home. I was looking at one of my favorite online stores, Z Gallerie, and saw some really cute candleholders. At $29.99 each, they were just out of my budget. I made a trip to my local Dollar Tree and came up with my own version. I hope you enjoy these diy Z Gallerie inspired candleholders as much as I do!

This was my inspiration from Z Gallerie. Pretty!
What you need:
silver spray paint
Step 1: First, you need one of these vases from the Dollar Tree. I found this one in the floral section.
Step 2: Next, you need a 4-pack of these glass bowls from the Dollar Tree. I found these on the wall near the spatulas and other cooking utensils.
Step 3: Now, you need some spray paint. I prefer this metallic paint from Krylon in the color ‘brilliant silver’.
Step 4: Spray paint your vase. I used 3 coats.
Step 5: Apply a bit of e6000 Glue to the bottom edge of your bowl.
Step 6: Place the bowl on top of the vase, and let dry for 24 hours. Add in a candle once it’s dry. Done!
These candleholders are so simple to make, and look really nice. I know they’re not identical to the original, but they’re pretty close!
Hey y'all! I just love purple, and today I'm bringing you this awesome Dollar Tree Room Decor DIY. It's so super simple to make, and can really be made in any color scheme you like.
***NOTE: I now have a video tutorial, showing you step-by-step how to make these. Scroll down to the bottom of the post to see it.***
What You Need:
2 glass vases/bottles
2 3.5"x5" frames
2 spools of colored floral wire
1 8.5" x 11" sheet of glitter paper, or any kind of printed paper you like.
Glue: E6000 is great for glass, or I use Gorilla Brand hot glue sticks. They are excellent for gluing glass items.
How To Make It:
1. Cut a piece of the glitter paper to fit inside the frame.
2. Wrap a bit of the floral wire around the top of the vase.
3. Glue the vases to the frames.
4. Fill with artificial flowers, then hang them up!
Easy and beautiful!
My 'Dollar Store Crafts' idea has really gotten a lot of attention lately, so I will try to keep it as a site staple. Today, I made this cute wall hanging out of a serving tray and wall decals I purchased from Dollar Tree. The paint came from WalMart, although some dollar stores do carry it.
What you need:
silver serving tray
sheet of wall decals
pop tab from a drink can
hot glue gun
How to make it:
This craft is actually so simple, I decided to not post a ton of photos, and instead just tell you how to put it together.
1. Paint the center of the serving tray with a thin layer of paint, and let it dry. Apply a second coat, and let it dry as well.
2. Trim the wall decals so they will fit in the center of the tray, and apply them in any order you like.
3. Attach the pop tab to the back of the tray with the hot glue to use as a hanger.
There you go! So simple, yet so pretty.
