UPDATE: VIDEO TUTORIAL NOW AVAILABLE. CHECK THE BOTTOM OF THIS POST. I love making practical items to use around my home, and these dish scrubbies are one of my favorites. They are made from nylon tulle, and withstand even the heaviest of scrubbing. To sanitize them, simply boil a pot of water, remove from the heat, and drop your scrubbies in for a few minutes. Now.... on to the pattern! Try to keep your stitches a bit loose so your scrubbies will be fluffy. What You Need: A spool of 6" tulle. You can get 2 scrubbies from WalMart tulle rolls 9mm crochet hook yarn needle scissors Abbreviations: ch: chain sl st: slip stitch dc: double crochet sc: single crochet Side #1: Round 1: Ch 4, then sl st into the first ch to form a circle. Round 2: Ch 2 (does not count as a stitch), then make 14 dc into the circle, and sl st to the top of the ch 2. Ch 1. Round 3: 2 sc into the same stitch, and in each stitch around.
