********EDIT: AUGUST 17TH: YOU'VE WAITED LONG ENOUGH! THE VIDEO IS UP! SCROLL DOWN TO THE BOTTOM!!!!************

Fall is my absolute favorite season, it's coming up fast, and I saw this adorable lighted Fall tree decoration on Amazon for almost $60! I wanted it, but didn't want to pay that price. Then I remembered a funny Christmas tree I had seen made from a plunger, and decided to make one for fall, using Dollar Tree items. Stay tuned for the video! I'll start filming again after surgery!

I like your craft very much. What I was kind of disappointed in was that you didn’t show ANY OF THE BOTTOM ASSEMBLY

You just glue whatever you want to glue to the tray.

Is there a separate supply list for easy access or just the video?

What about leaving the plunger as is and cover that with moss leaves and flowers would that work and be stable enough🤷🏻‍♀️ Love the group all together at the end. Need to get to the Dollar Tree

That was my intention also, however, the tree was a little too too heavy, I needed to put it into a pot filled with sand.

I left the plunger whole and glued it to the tray and it seemed to be alot better

I make a fall tree i used a real tree limb I used a drill and drilled hole in the tree limb at a slant then I put the pick in the holes. really looks like a real tree. Then i can take the picks and put in picks for winter.

Hi how are you today. Where did you come up with that name Seasonal Crafts.
Thats my business name. I didn't give you the permission to use it.

I'm going to leave this comment up so everyone can see it.

First off, I have no clue why you think 'Seasonal Crafts' is my business name. I'm assuming you're new to this blog, and don't know how to check a URL, or click through to the homepage to see my business name. The name of this website, my business, my Facebook page, my Facebook group, AND my YouTube channel, is This Southern Girl Can. If you would take a moment to look around, you would see that I have not only this website, but also my YouTube playlists, organized into many sections. Those sections are labeled as to what they contain: Christmas Crafts, Halloween Crafts, and yes.... Seasonal Crafts. Seasonal Crafts may be your business name, but you do not own that particular term seeing how it is so basic, common, and widely used. That's not how it works. That is also the problem with using a common phrase as a business name. Therefore, anyone can use the words 'seasonal' and 'crafts' together when they are being used as a descriptive term. In the future, I would highly suggest that you take the time to familiarize yourself with the website on which you are commenting, before doing so. Good day.

Just when I think stupidity has gone to the bottom as low as someone can do or say YET another one just pops in it's place!!! I L♥️VE doing "Seasonal Crafts" btw: I do crafts for EVERY Season!! Keep up the AWESOME job!! Love your YT channel! Even tho I don't Comment much there I do pop in as often as I can!!! Sorry i just had to reply even a whole year later!!! 😅🤭!

My, 'Bless her heart's comment was directed at Karen, not 'This Southern Girl Can'... just to clarify. I saw there was a reply that has been since removed and it looks like I was (possibly?) unsubscribed, but I could absolutely be incorrect. I'm basing it on the fact that it says I am, and I don't recall doing so. Just making sure my comment wasn't taken out of context. I felt like the rebuttal to the original comment was spot on and the original comment was a little off the wall.

I love this tree and actually made one for myself last year . My base is smaller and doesn’t contain as much detail but still love it so much I’m making more and starting early,! My question is , with all the string lights and leave stems on plunger it is heavy , is that foam you used combined with the glue strong enough to hold the tree up ? Why do I picture it leaning or the foam splitting? I wanted to make a few of these as gifts and didn’t want to worry about it falling apart . Any suggestions I would greatly appreciate and thanks so much for the video , I love it !

The glue and foam is all you need. I have never had an issue with it falling over, or splitting.

This is such a fun and cute idea! I was just wondering (if it's not too impolite to ask) how much did you spend overall to complete this project? It seems pretty time consuming and I might like to make one or two to put in our Fall Raffle for a school fund raiser, and don't know if it would be worth the cost and effort. Gotta get to $1.00 store before all the goodies are gone! Thanks for the video and post.

Looks like a Great decoration. I’m thinking I’d like to buy one. Me and hot glue are not friends. Your demonstration was excellent. I wish you lived by me. WBills Utah
